Typical projects involve site/civil design for residential, commercial and industrial site development, and capital improvement projects. Responsibilities Site/civil development including grading design

Prepare detailed landscape and hardscape plans

Prepare layout studies, yield studies, and parking studies for commercial/residential

Prepare development plans to support Rezoning and/or Special Exception applications

Working on design teams in all aspects of a given project to develop detailed design documents for construction plans

May also conduct code research and write specifications Required Skills & Required Experience Currently pursuing B.S. or M.S in Landscape Architecture required.

Previous internship experience desired.

Strong freehand illustration and rendering skills.

Experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft office is required.

Experience with Photoshop, InDesign, Sketchup, Illustrator, GIS/ArcView and Power Point.

Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Program Information Summer Intern Program During the summer intern program, interns gain hands-on project experience, develop technical skills, and put their classroom knowledge into action. Our interns are assigned meaningful work and are given the opportunity to work on projects similar to what they would be engaging with as a full-time employee.
