Overview Join our dynamic team as a Landscape Designer and unleash your creativity to craft stunning, sustainable outdoor environments! In this role, you will transform client visions into detailed, functional landscape plans that blend aesthetic appeal with environmental responsibility. Your expertise will help shape vibrant public spaces, private gardens, and commercial landscapes that inspire and endure. We're looking for passionate professionals eager to bring innovative ideas to life through precise design and collaborative project execution. Duties Develop comprehensive landscape designs using SketchUp, AutoCAD, Rhinoceros 3D, Civil 3D, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite to produce detailed drawings and visualizations. Conduct site analysis utilizing GIS tools such as ArcView and ArcGIS to assess topography, soil conditions, hydrology, and existing vegetation. Prepare construction documents including grading plans, planting schemes, hardscape layouts, irrigation systems, and construction estimates. Collaborate with clients, contractors, and project teams to ensure designs meet aesthetic goals, budget constraints, and sustainability standards. Oversee landscape construction phases by coordinating with contractors on installation of hardscape features, planting, irrigation systems, and land surveying activities. Incorporate sustainable design principles by selecting eco-friendly materials and promoting water-efficient irrigation practices. Assist in landscape maintenance planning to ensure long-term health and beauty of completed projects. Qualifications Proven proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, Rhinoceros 3D, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, and Adobe Creative Suite for drafting and visualization purposes. Strong knowledge of GIS platforms such as ArcView and ArcGIS for site analysis and mapping. Experience with landscaping design including hardscape elements like patios and pathways; softscape planning involving horticulture expertise; and irrigation system design. Familiarity with land surveying techniques and civil engineering principles related to site development. Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently through effective project management skills. Knowledge of construction estimating processes and construction management practices. Passion for sustainable design practices that prioritize environmental stewardship and resource conservation. $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
