Multi-faceted Full-time Position:
For a full-time position, skills beyond CAD drafting/design are beneficial: marketing, writing, horticulture, construction, project management, and/or administrative... What additional talents might you bring? This is an exceptional career opportunity for the right person. What you'll do: Produce base plans, planting plans, and construction drawings in AutoCAD (we use LandF/X) Assist with site analysis, measurements, and design development Research plants, products, and materials for sustainable, eco-minded landscapes Create 2D and 3D presentations using SketchUp, Photoshop, or hand sketching Organize CAD files, photos, and project materials Coordinate with clients, surveyors, suppliers, and installers What we're looking for: AutoCAD proficiency, including construction detailing (3+years preferred) Interest or experience in landscape design, horticulture, architecture, or a related field. Presentation skills (Photoshop, SketchUp, InDesign, sketching) Strong written and verbal communication, organized, and able to manage many tasks Real interest in nature, native plants, and sustainability Eagerness to grow skills into broader design work
