Job Overview We are seeking a talented and motivated Landscape Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing innovative landscape designs that blend aesthetic appeal with functional and sustainable solutions. You will collaborate closely with clients, project managers, and construction teams to bring visionary outdoor spaces to life through detailed planning, technical expertise, and creative visualization. Responsibilities Create detailed construction documentation including drawings, specifications, and planting plans. Utilize hand-drawn sketches and digital renderings to communicate design ideas effectively to clients and team members. Incorporate sustainable design principles and environmentally friendly practices into project plans. Conduct site analysis of potential clients site Collaborate with management teams on drainage, lighting, grading plans, irrigation systems, and civil engineering considerations. Prepare visual presentations to illustrate concepts clearly. Assist in project management tasks such as budgeting, scheduling, and client communication to ensure timely project delivery. Requirements Proven experience in landscape architecture or landscape design with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse projects. Proficiency in design software including SketchUp, Dynascape etc. is preferred Skilled in presentation of proposals and client interaction Knowledge of horticulture practices, hardscape construction techniques, irrigation systems, and landscaping maintenance. Ability to produce hand-drawn illustrations and detailed renderings to enhance visual communication. Experience with project management processes including construction estimating, documentation, and client interaction. Familiarity with land surveying methods and civil engineering principles relevant to landscape projects. Ability to work unassisted, maintaining appointment calendar and bid deadlines Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, contractors, and team members. $40,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
