H. Edward Black and Associates Ltd. is seeking a Landscape Architect Technician to support our design team on land development and site design projects. This is a great opportunity for an early-career design professional to build hands-on experience in land development plans, site grading, landscape design, and construction detailing while working alongside licensed Landscape Architects and Civil Engineers. The applicant should be detail oriented, eager to learn, and able to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team. H. Key Responsibilities:

▪ Prepare and update site plans, grading plans, planting plans, and construction details under the direction of senior staff.

▪ Assist with drafting and drawing production in AutoCAD Civil3D.

▪ Support development of graphic materials for client presentations, public meetings, and proposals.

▪ Assist with research on municipal zoning, ordinances, and permitting requirements.

▪ Coordinate with project managers to track deadlines and revisions.

▪ Assist with basic site inventory, field measurements, and site visits as needed.

Qualifications:

▪ Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Landscape Design, or a related field (or equivalent coursework/experience).

▪ 2-3 years of relevant experience; internship experience welcomed.

▪ Working knowledge of AutoCAD (Civil3D preferred).

▪ Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, or Illustrator) a plus.

▪ Strong graphic, technical drawing, and communication skills.

▪ Interest in pursuing LARE licensure/CLARB certification is a plus. Familiarity with the following Programs
