Job Description

Lutsko Associates, an accomplished design-oriented firm of 14 professionals, focuses on contemporary issues involving culture, art and ecology. We are looking for innovative people with strong academic credentials and an interest in a rigorous approach to these design topics. The office is run in an informal open studio format, with a given team working on all aspects of a project from inception to completion. Our current work includes residential, public/institutional and rural/agrarian projects. Experience Requirements:
Minimum 2-4 years of design and drafting experience in a professional Landscape Architecture studio. Experience working in an office environment is required. Desired candidate will demonstrate a strong architecturally-oriented design approach and an understanding and sensitivity to the environment. Technical, organizational, and project management skills are required. It is important to be self-motivated yet open and receptive to a team approach. Specific experience in design development, construction documents and an understanding of - and interest in - materials is a necessity. An understanding of the theoretical and historical basis of Architecture and Landscape Architecture is highly valued.
Qualifications:
Software Skills and Education Requirements:
AutoCAD 2026, Rhino, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Land F/X, 3D Rendering, MS Office, MS Teams Professional degree in Architecture or Landscape Architecture. Graduate degree preferred. The ideal candidate will reside within commuting distance of our San Francisco office, and have the ability to work remotely from home.
