Landscape Design & Sales Specialist AppleOne - 3.8 Fort Collins, CO Job Details $60,000 - $80,000 a year 21 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Vision insurance Paid sick time Qualifications Professional ethics Driver's License Bachelor's degree Full Job Description This is a client-facing position that combines creative landscape design, sales, estimating, and project coordination. The ideal candidate will be comfortable meeting with prospective clients, developing custom landscape concepts, presenting proposals and estimates, and staying involved throughout the construction process to help ensure the finished project reflects the original design. This position pays between $60,000-$80,000 annually with commission opportunities. This is a direct hire position, that offers a hybrid schedule (at least two days in office), and a relocation bonus may be available for candidates who are not local to the Fort Collins, CO area.
Key Responsibilities:
Meet with prospective and current clients to understand project goals, preferences, and scope. Develop landscape plans, concepts, and renderings for client presentations. Prepare and present estimates, budgets, project proposals, and phasing plans. Guide clients through the design and decision-making process from initial consultation through project completion. Collaborate with production staff and construction teams to coordinate project timelines and ensure designs are executed as intended. Visit active construction sites to monitor progress and help resolve design-related questions. Prepare and process project change orders. Assist with project budgets, job costing, and client invoicing. Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients and sales opportunities. Collaborate with other designers on creative concepts and project solutions. Communicate professionally and consistently with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams. Maintain a high level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail throughout the sales and design process.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Landscape Design, Landscape Architecture, or a related field. At least 3 years of professional landscape design experience. Strong client-facing and communication skills. Highly motivated, creative, and self-directed. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. Proficiency with CAD and other landscape design software. Ability to create unique designs that are both visually appealing and functional. Valid driver's license. Strong professionalism, character, and integrity.
