www.stratalandscape.com We're seeking an experienced Landscape Designer / Estimator to join our growing team. This is a long-term role with significant growth potential for the right candidate. Responsibilities Manage all aspects of residential and small commercial design and installation. Meet with prospective clients to understand project goals. Develop detailed site, planting, hardscape, and lighting plans. Produce scaled drawings and presentation-quality renderings (hand sketching and CAD). Conduct site analysis (grading, drainage, existing structures). Prepare construction estimates and assist with bid generation. Oversee projects from design through installation, including scheduling and crew coordination. Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards. Deliver as-builts, warranties, and close-out documentation. Requirements Degree or certificate in Landscape Architecture/Design, or equivalent experience. Minimum 5 years in a design/project management role (commercial experience preferred). Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop), SketchUp, and rendering tools. Strong drafting, design, and estimating skills. Knowledge of landscape installation practices and methods. Valid Texas driver's license. Personal Qualities Strong communication and client-facing skills. Detail-oriented, self-starter, and organized. Team player with a positive, results-driven mindset.
