Landscape Designer (Design + Sales | High-End Residential Projects) Hybrid - Saint Joseph, MN $60,000 - $100,000+ (Base + Commission) About the Role We are looking for a creative and detail-driven Landscape Designer who can not only design beautiful outdoor spaces—but also guide clients through the process and sell the vision . This is a hybrid role combining design and client interaction and isideal for someone who enjoys both the creative and business side of landscaping. What You'll Do Meet with clients to understand their vision, needs, and budget Measure, photograph, and evaluate properties Create custom landscape designs using DynaScape (or similar software) Collaboration with estimator to develop estimates and proposals Present designs and confidently guide clients toward project approval Create polished presentation materials (plans, renderings, plant selections) Coordinate with project managers to ensure designs are executed properly Manage multiple projects and timelines (typically 2-3 week turnaround) Who This Is For This role is ideal for someone who: Has a background in landscape design, horticulture, or architecture Enjoys both design work and client interaction/sales Is organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple projects Takes pride in creating high-quality, functional outdoor spaces Wants the opportunity to increase their income through performance Qualifications Experience with DynaScape, CAD, SketchUp, Structure Studios, or similar design software Strong knowledge of plant materials (trees, shrubs, perennials) Strong knowledge of hardscape materials (pavers, retaining wall block, natural stone, etc) Understanding of landscape installation (hardscapes, softscapes, lighting, water features) Strong communication and presentation skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Compensation & Benefits $60,000 - $100,000+ per year (base + commission) Commission opportunities based on project sales Flexible schedule Hybrid work environment (remote + office hours + site visits) 401(k) with up to 4% match Quarterly Bonus Opportunities Paid time off Why Join Scenic Specialties?
