Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and talented Full-Time Landscape Architect/Draftsman to join our rapidly Growing pool and outdoor living company. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to diverse landscape/pool and hardscape projects, from conceptual design through construction documentation. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for sustainable landscape architecture, exceptional drafting skills, and a keen eye for detail. You will collaborate closely with clients, engineers, and contractors to create inspiring outdoor spaces that blend functionality with aesthetic appeal. This position is perfect for someone eager to develop their skills in landscape design, project management, and technical drafting within a vibrant professional environment. Responsibilities Develop comprehensive landscape designs using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, and MicroStation, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications. 3D rendering design using structure studios, sketchup or others. Create detailed construction documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports that facilitate smooth project execution. Produce compelling visual presentations and renderings using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and hand-drawn illustrations to communicate design concepts effectively. Utilize GIS tools like ArcView and ArcGIS for land analysis, site planning, and environmental impact assessments. Collaborate with clients and team members during design development phases to refine concepts and incorporate feedback. Assist in project management tasks such as design product ordering, specific layout confirmation in field, and guidance when needed from project manager for detail clarifications Conduct site visits for land surveying, landscape maintenance assessments, and construction inspections to ensure quality standards are met. Requirements Proven experience in landscape architecture or related fields with a strong portfolio showcasing design development and technical drafting skills. Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Rhinoceros 3D, MicroStation, and other CAD tools essential for drafting and modeling. Skilled in rendering techniques using Adobe Photoshop, SketchUp, or similar graphic design software; experience with hand-drawn sketches is a plus. Knowledge of GIS platforms such as ArcView or ArcGIS for spatial analysis and land planning. Familiarity with construction processes including hardscape installation, irrigation systems, landscaping techniques, and construction estimating. Strong understanding of horticulture principles and sustainable design practices to promote environmentally responsible landscapes. Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members; experience in client presentations and project documentation is highly valued. Construction experience or civil engineering background is advantageous; familiarity with land surveying and civil engineering principles is preferred. $65,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
