Job Description

This position will lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive transportation funding strategy for capital improvement and road bond programs. Responsibilities include continuously monitoring federal, state, regional, and discretionary funding opportunities; evaluating project eligibility and competitiveness; leading grant application development; coordinating with clients, stakeholders, and other funding partners; and managing post-award compliance, reporting, and reimbursement activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in transportation funding, infrastructure grants, transportation planning, or public sector program delivery, with a proven track record of securing and administering major grant awards and advancing complex, multi-agency transportation initiatives. This opportunity also entails being responsible for supervising design assignments and the technical production of urban design plans, design development drawings and construction documents. Coordinates efforts with project manager, design team and other disciplines on multiple, large-scale and complex projects to ensure that the client's technical requirements for all urban design and landscape architecture aspects of project are fully met. Performs various project tasks where urban design and landscape architecture involvement is required or requested on major, complex projects. May serve as a Project Manager on a limited basis for select large scale projects. Regular task assignee on multiple projects.
