Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and talented Residential Landscape Designer to join our innovative design team. In this role, you will bring outdoor spaces to life by blending creativity with technical expertise, creating inspiring, sustainable, and functional landscapes tailored to our clients' visions. Your passion for landscape architecture, combined with your proficiency in design abilities and construction knowledge, will drive the development of compelling landscape solutions that enhance residential environments. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to shape beautiful, eco-friendly outdoor spaces while collaborating with a dedicated team of professionals. Duties Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, needs, and site conditions for residential landscape projects Develop conceptual designs through hand-drawn sketches and or detailed digital renderings using software such as SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop, and Revit Create comprehensive construction documentation including site plans, planting plans, hardscape details. Utilize GIS tools like ArcView and ArcGIS to analyze site data and inform sustainable design strategies Coordinate with contractors during construction phases to ensure design integrity and quality control Assist in project management tasks including budgeting, scheduling, and client communication to ensure timely project delivery Requirements Proven experience in landscape architecture or landscape design with a strong portfolio showcasing residential projects Ability to draw comprehensive scale designs that are horticulturally logical. Skilled in graphic design software including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) for rendering and presentation purposes is a plus, but not required. Clean hand drawn designs are acceptable. Knowledge of horticulture principles, plant selection, hardscape construction techniques, and sustainable landscaping practices Ability to produce hand-drawn illustrations and technical drawings that clearly communicate design intent Experience with construction documentation, estimating, and project management processes Excellent client communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly and professionally Construction experience is highly desirable for seamless integration of design into real-world implementation Join us in transforming outdoor spaces into vibrant works of art that reflect our clients' lifestyles while promoting sustainability. Pay:
$40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
