Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Landscape Design Assistant to support our design team from concept to completion. You will work directly with clients, draft precise layouts, estimate project costs, and help bring designs to life on-site.

Key ResponsibilitiesClient & Assessment Conduct initial site visits with clients. Assess soil, sunlight, topography, and existing vegetation. Document client goals, preferences, and budget constraints. Take precise site measurements and photographs. Drafting & Estimating Draft detailed 2D plans. Calculate material quantities and plant counts. Create accurate project cost estimates and proposals. Revise designs based on client and director feedback. Field Work Assist field crews on-site during installation kick-offs. Mark curb lines, and bed shapes. Layout and place plants according to the design plan. Verify that on-site execution matches the design intent. Documentation & Deliverables Compile complete construction packets for installation crews. Create customized care and maintenance packets for clients. Archive final project files for company records. Qualifications Proficiency in DynaScape and or AutoCAD, Knowledge of local plant species, growth habits, and soil types. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions. Strong communication, time-management, and mathematical skills.
Pay:
$14.00 - $14.50 per hour
