Job Title:
Landscape Architect Job Description Join our dynamic team as a Landscape Architect within a multi-disciplinary A/E firm renowned for its award-winning Landscape Architecture studio. We focus on creating high-quality urban spaces, schools, multi-family residential, and parks and recreation facilities, with projects predominantly located in the Washington, DC metro area and across the United States. Responsibilities + Provide design expertise in Master Planning, Urban Design, Site Development, and Landscape Architecture. + Utilize proficiency in AutoCAD/Land FX, MS Office, and Adobe Photoshop/InDesign to enhance project outcomes. + Assist in proposal writing, client management, and project management from concept development through construction administration. + Manage project responsibilities including team coordination, contract negotiation, client billing, staffing coordination, and maintaining project schedules and budgets. + Demonstrate solid plant identification skills and design understanding of woody and herbaceous plants of the Mid-Atlantic Region. + Prepare rezoning, special exception, and special permit plans and applications. + Conduct feasibility studies, site analyses, grading, and earthwork analyses. Essential Skills + Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture + 5+ years of landscape architecture related experience + Proficiency with AutoCAD (Civil 3D preferred) and Adobe Photoshop/InDesign + Licensed Landscape Architect (preferred) + Experience with landscape design, master planning, land use planning, zoning and entitlements, site sustainability studies, and concept plans Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with sustainable site design + AICP planning professional or licensed Landscape Architect + Proficiency in Lumion and SketchUp is a plus Work Environment Work in a collaborative environment where personal and professional goals are highly valued. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Chantilly, VA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $90000.00- $125000.00/yr.
