Job Summary Join our dynamic logging team as a Logging Loader/Processor Operator, where you'll play a vital role in efficient timber harvesting and processing. This energetic position involves operating heavy equipment to load, process, and manage logs in outdoor forestry environments. Your expertise will help ensure safe, productive, and environmentally responsible logging operations. Duties Operate loaders, processors, excavators, and other heavy equipment to efficiently load and process logs in compliance with safety standards Conduct routine equipment maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal performance of machinery Follow forestry and logging safety procedures diligently to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and team members. Assist with ground-based logging activities including heavy lifting, bucketing, and equipment setup. Support equipment repair tasks by troubleshooting mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime. Skills Strong knowledge of forestry and logging safety procedures to ensure safe work practices at all times. Proven experience in timber harvesting, ground-based logging, or related outdoor forestry work. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform equipment maintenance and minor repairs on loaders, excavators, chainsaws, and other machinery. Proficiency in loader operation, bucket handling, and heavy equipment operation Experience with equipment repair procedures and preventative maintenance routines. $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
