Job Description
The Yard Loader Operator will be assigned to perform and assist in the following activities: Scale logs in the log yard and merchandizer Visually exam non-scale loads for log quality Load Lumber and Open Top Trailer Sawdust Trucks Help prepare log sales Communicate log quality concerns and successes with Log Yard Manager and Foresters Maintain lines of communication with machine operators for the proper and safe spreading of logs for scaling, loading of log deck, unloading and loading of trucks Maintain a clean and safe work area
