Entry Level Plant Laborer - Aggregate Mining

About the Position We are seeking a motivated and reliable Entry-Level Plant Laborer to join our team at an active aggregate mining pit. This role is ideal for individuals who are hardworking, safety-focused, and eager to build a long-term career in the mining and materials industry. Key Responsibilities Assist with daily plant operations, including material handling, cleanup, and routine maintenance. Monitor conveyor systems, crushers, screens, and other plant equipment. Follow strict safety protocols and participate in safety meetings and training. Perform physical labor such as shoveling, sweeping, and equipment washdowns. Support plant operators and maintenance staff as needed. Training & Growth Opportunity This is a true entry-level position, and no prior heavy equipment experience is required . Heavy equipment operation (loaders, skid steers, haul trucks, etc.) will be taught and developed over time as part of our internal training and advancement program. Candidates with strong work ethic and reliability can grow into operator or technician roles. Requirements Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Willingness to perform physical labor and lift repeatedly. Ability to follow safety rules and communicate effectively with the team. Reliable transportation and punctual attendance. Preferred (Not Required) Previous experience in mining, construction, landscaping, or industrial settings. Mechanical aptitude or familiarity with tools and equipment.
