General Unit Primary Function To assist operators on various production units in the plant and to perform other duties in connection with the handling of steel strip, plate or tubing. Tools & Equipment Processing unit such as pointer ( and others as designated), small hand tools, etc. Materials Steel tubing of various grades, etc. Working Procedure 1. Handles, lifts, moves, stacks and piles tubing as necessary. 2. Operates crane by hooking to crane slings as directed. 3. Ties and unties bundles of tubing; tagging as necessary. 4. Performs other routine helping functions as directed. Experience At least 1 year of prior, verifiable experience working in an industrial manufacturing setting is required
