Crusher Operator

J & J Excavating & Trucking, a leading excavation and trucking company based in Corvallis MT, is seeking a skilled and experienced Crusher Operator to join our growing team. As a Crusher Operator, you will be responsible for operating a variety of machines to crush, size, and stockpile materials efficiently and safely.

Must Have:

MSHA certification First Aid Experience in crushing materials such as road base, plant mix and washed products Key responsibilities of the Crusher Operator include: Operating crushing equipment to crush, screen, and stockpile materials according to specifications Performing routine maintenance on crushers and performing light repairs, such as but not limited to changing the screen and fixing belts. Inspecting equipment to identify any issues or malfunctions that may arise Ensuring proper operating procedures are followed to maximize production efficiency Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the work area Must be proficient and efficient with paperwork, will need to be turned into the office daily Travel may be necessary as well as the occasional weekend The ideal candidate for this position will have previous experience operating crushers in a mining or construction environment. You must possess a strong mechanical aptitude and be able to troubleshoot any issues that may arise during operation. Attention to detail and a commitment to safety are paramount in this role.
