Fill containers such as oil cans, grease guns, or lubrication truck tanks with specified lubricants. Ensure all reservoirs are properly filled and that moving parts and friction surfaces are adequately greased. Adjust oil cup valves to regulate the flow of oil to moving components. Fill wells and sumps of lubrication systems with oil as required. Inspect machinery to assess general operating conditions, identifying premature wear, defects, or malfunctions. Document inspection results on daily reports and immediately report any concerns to the supervisor. Clean machines, sweep floors, and transport stock as needed. Perform general plant housekeeping, including sweeping, vacuuming warehouse floors, cleaning hoppers, and disposing of waste. Maintain facility grounds by removing trash and weeds. Assist with painting using brushes, rollers, or sprayers. Conduct cycle counts (physical inventory) of finished goods, raw materials, and supplies. File paperwork and assist with data entry and quality analysis. Perform equipment calibrations and support inspection processes. Conduct safety audits to identify unsafe conditions or behaviors. Support safety initiatives by assisting with training preparation and delivering training to employees. Operate forklifts to support maintenance, production, and shipping operations. Attend and participate in additional training sessions as required High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Required.
