The Union Rate is $26.85 Position Overview The Maintenance operator is responsible for maintaining and operating the terminal in a safe and efficient manner and will provide accurate and timely documentation. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: :

• The selected applicant must join the union within 60 days of hire.
• Performs all job duties in accordance with The Shelly Company's safety procedures.
• Oversees the loading and unloading of tanker trucks.
• Operates plant scales by weighing tanker trucks.
• Performs routine daily facility inspections to include, tanks, pumps, valves, and all associated piping and equipment.
• Performs routine maintenance of equipment.
• Performs general housekeeping tasks.
• Operates hand tools and power equipment.
• Performs duties under limited supervision.
• Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required.

• Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and the general public at all times.
• Must be willing to work nights and weekends when necessary.
• Report to the assigned job site ready to begin work at the designated start time.
• Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Manual of Safety Practices and Procedures.
• Strict adherence to Shelly Company policies and procedures as outlined in the Company Book of Policies.
• Timely and regular attendance is an expectation of performance for all Shelly Company employees. Employees will be held accountable for adhering to their workplace schedule.
• Individuals are required to wear personal protective equipment in designated operations and production areas as stated by OSHA and/or MSHA. Protective equipment that may be required, but not limited to, for this position: Insulated Gloves, Hard Hat, Hearing Protection, Padlocks for Lockout/Tagout, Face Shield, Safety Glasses.
• This position will work varied hours over all shifts, overtime and weekend work required.

Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
