Summary:

The stump grinder person is responsible for all stump grinding for residential and commercial properties using small and large grinders.

Essential Functions:

Operates stump grinder machine for arbor related assignments. Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices. Performs routine inspection and general maintenance on equipment. Performs other duties as assigned or needed.

Must demonstrate the following competencies:

Ability to work in a team and individual environment where communication skills are essential Ability to reach, climb, kneel, lift (up to 50 lbs.) and walk for extended periods of time Ability to perform strenuous work in all weather conditions Must be a motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently. Must be dependable, punctual and have a strong work ethic Must be detail oriented and have good communication skills

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively 1 Year grinding experience preferred Must have valid Driver's License Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen Equal opportunity employer Apply with resume/work experience and references
