Excavation Operator (Septic/underground utilities)

Overview:

Seeking a reliable, safety-focused CDL Equipment Operator with experience running heavy equipment (excavators) and working on septic systems and underground utilities. Must be willing to get in the ditch to glue pipe and hand-dig when needed. Pay based on experience. Local - Family owned business.

Responsibilities:

Safely operate excavators and other heavy equipment as assigned Install, repair, and maintain septic systems and underground utilities Glue and join pipe in trenches; perform hand-digging and site prep Perform daily equipment and safety checks; report issues promptly Assist crew, follow plans, and maintain a clean worksite Work in all weather conditions; be flexible with schedules

Qualifications:

Valid CDL (Class A preferred) Experience operating excavators and working on septic or underground utility projects Comfortable working in trenches and performing manual tasks Responsible, safety-minded, and eager to learn Good communication and teamwork skills OSHA or utility safety certifications a plus
