GA Job Overview & Essential Functions Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC is North America's largest Kenworth truck dealership group and leasing group. As MHC continues to grow, we have an opening for a Service Technician - Mobile Refrigeration. The role of the Service Technician - Mobile Refrigeration is responsible performs mobile mechanical repair at customer locations, receiving on the job training in development program to achieve Service Technician status. Performs preventative, contract and scheduled maintenance on customer equipment utilizing a mobile service vehicle.
Able to repair basic refrigeration, fuel systems, electrical systems, microprocessors, cooling systems and general maintenance.
Promotes and sells mobile service to potential customers.
Performs trouble shooting on unit problems.
Attends training sessions and meetings.
Maintains a neat and orderly working area, and proper handling of company tools.
Advises the Shop Foreman if additional repair work is necessary.
Provides excellent customer service.
Follows safe work practices and procedures, uses safety equipment when required, responds to suggestions for working safely and seeks assistance when necessary.
Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
