We are a local company specializing in UST/AST testing, compliance, field service, repair, and petroleum system construction . Our scope includes gas stations, hospitals, airports, emergency generator systems, and other commercial facilities. This is a position for someone who can work independently, troubleshoot problems, and get the job done without constant supervision. Responsibilities UST/AST compliance testing and inspections Troubleshooting, service, and repair of fuel systems Repair and maintenance of pumps, hanging hardware, tanks, piping, and related equipment Construction and installation of petroleum fuel systems Pipe fitting, trenching, equipment operation, and other construction work General labor and physical work as needed Reading plans and understanding system layouts Working with electronic and mechanical fuel-system components Communicating professionally with customers, contractors, and coworkers Completing service, testing, and project documentation Travel to job sites as required We handle full-system, ground-up petroleum installation projects , so this position will include both day-to-day field service and larger construction projects. What We're Looking For Experience with USTs, ASTs, petroleum systems, fuel systems, or related equipment Ability to work independently and troubleshoot problems in the field Mechanical aptitude and experience working with tools and equipment Ability to perform physical work and assist with general construction and labor Experience with fuel dispensers, pumps, tanks, piping, leak detection, or related equipment is a plus Construction experience, including pipe fitting or heavy equipment operation, is a plus Relevant UST/AST, environmental, or petroleum equipment certifications are a plus Dependable, professional, and willing to travel when needed We're a small, local, non-union company with a variety of work and opportunities to grow with the company. The position will involve testing, service, repairs, construction, and ground-up petroleum system installations. Compensation is based on experience and qualifications. In-person interviews will be conducted for qualified applicants.
Pay:
$18.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 40.0 per week
