We operate multiple fields in Kern County. Responsibilities Operate and monitor workover rigs, and well servicing equipment to perform maintenance or repair tasks on oil wells. Rig hands must have extensive experience working floors and derricks on a production rig. This would apply to single and double rigs. Assist with rigging operations, ensuring proper setup, secure connections, and safe handling of tools and materials. Support pipeline installation, repair, and maintenance activities associated with well interventions or infrastructure upgrades. Conduct routine inspections of equipment and machinery to identify mechanical issues or safety hazards; perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance as needed. Follow OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards diligently to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and team members. Qualifications Extensive experience working on oil rigs or construction sites involving heavy equipment operation is highly desirable. Mechanical knowledge related to rigging, hydraulic systems, pumps, and general machinery maintenance. Familiarity with pipeline systems and oil & gas industry practices. Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations applicable to construction sites and industrial environments. Ability to operate heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and tanker trucks safely and efficiently is a plus. Strong teamwork skills combined with excellent communication abilities; proactive attitude toward safety protocols.
