Job Description The Rigless Production Operator is responsible for supporting rigless well intervention and production operations, including slickline services, valve maintenance, swabbing operations, and well preparation activities ahead of workover rig schedules. This role supports safe and efficient well servicing operations by performing field-based intervention work designed to maintain production, troubleshoot well issues, and prepare wells for future remediation or workover activities. The position requires hands-on experience with slickline equipment, wellhead and valve operations, swabbing procedures, and production support activities. Candidates should be capable of working independently in field environments while maintaining a strong focus on safety, operational efficiency, and well control awareness. Responsibilities Perform rigless well intervention and production support operations. Conduct slickline operations for well maintenance, troubleshooting, and production optimization. Operate and maintain wellhead valves, flow control equipment, and associated pressure control systems. Support swabbing operations to assist with fluid recovery and production enhancement. Prepare wells for scheduled workover rig operations and intervention activities. Coordinate with production, operations, and workover teams to support scheduling and operational readiness. Monitor well conditions and identify operational issues requiring corrective action. Assist with pressure control operations and maintain well integrity during intervention activities. Inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot slickline and swabbing equipment. Ensure proper rig-up and rig-down procedures are followed for all field operations. Complete daily operational reports, field tickets, and job documentation accurately. Adhere to all safety procedures, operational standards, and environmental requirements. Participate in pre-job safety meetings, JSAs, and hazard assessments. Maintain equipment, tools, and company vehicles in safe working condition. Previous oil & gas field experience required. Experience with slickline operations required. Experience with valve maintenance and wellhead equipment required. Swabbing experience strongly preferred. Experience supporting rigless well intervention or production operations preferred. Understanding of pressure control and well servicing safety practices. Ability to work independently in remote field environments. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability. Ability to work around high-pressure production equipment safely. Must be physically capable of lifting equipment and working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record preferred. Commitment to safe work practices and operational excellence.
