Job Description

Minimum Requirements:
Experience in the Solids Control field or similar mechanical experience to identify potential mechanical issues. Willingness to learn NOV policies, procedures, and equipment operations. Maintain a satisfactory driving record to ensure timely travel to job sites. Ability to safely perform general labor tasks within NOV safety guidelines. Successfully pass Pre-Employment Background Check, Physical, Audiogram, Vision Screen, Pulmonary Function/FIT Test, and Substance Abuse Testing. Willingness to undergo random and periodic Substance Abuse Testing. Ability to safely operate heavy equipment (track hoe, backhoe) as required. CLASS A Operator Expertly complete Solids Control Surveys, including rig ups, rig downs, troubleshooting, repair, and fluid routing. Perform Solids Control analysis and provide appropriate recommendations. Complete electrical rig ups, rig downs, troubleshooting, and repairs. Proficiently follow proper sampling procedures. Maintain required NOV WSS Core Training and annual refresher training. Accurately complete daily reports. Communicate effectively with customers, supervisors, and co-workers. Exhibit excellent rig etiquette and a professional attitude. Successfully train other employees. Maintain a satisfactory driving record. Willingness to complete general labor tasks as required. CLASS B Operator Satisfactorily complete Solids Control rig ups, rig downs, troubleshooting, and minor repairs. Perform Solids Control analysis of equipment. Complete electrical rig ups, rig downs, and minor repairs. Possess satisfactory knowledge of Solids Control and Vacuum Unit jobs. Follow proper sampling procedures. Maintain required NOV WSS Core Training and annual refresher training. Complete daily reports and maintain clear communication. Demonstrate satisfactory rig etiquette and professionalism. Train other employees as needed. Maintain a satisfactory driving record. Willingness to complete general labor tasks as required. CLASS C Operator Recognize and understand the function of Solids Control equipment. Complete or plan to complete NOV WSS Core Training and maintain annual refresher training. Exhibit proper rig etiquette. Accurately complete daily reports. Communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers. Demonstrate a professional attitude. Maintain a satisfactory driving record. Complete general labor tasks as required.
