Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Water Well Service Rig Hand and become a vital part of our water well drilling and well service operations! In this energetic role, you'll be responsible for assisting with the setup, operation, and maintenance of water well service rigs used in drilling and well completion activities. Your hands-on expertise will help ensure safe, efficient, and reliable water well services that support our energy projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your mechanical skills and heavy equipment operation experience to contribute to critical resource extraction efforts. Duties Assist with rig setup, dismantling, and routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance of water well drilling and service rigs Operate heavy equipment such cranes, forklifts, and tanker trucks safely and efficiently on construction sites and oil & gas locations Perform equipment troubleshooting to identify issues quickly and implement effective repairs or adjustments Manage rigging tasks including hoisting, securing loads, and ensuring proper use of lifting gear in compliance with safety standards Support crew management by coordinating tasks, maintaining safety protocols, and ensuring all team members use personal protective equipment (PPE) such as respiratory protection and safety harnesses Conduct pump operations and oversee pumping systems used during water extraction or injection processes Follow OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) guidelines and safety protocols rigorously during outdoor work activities in various environments Requirements Proven experience operating heavy equipment including drilling rigs, service rigs, cranes, forklifts, and tanker trucks in construction or water drilling settings Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues efficiently Familiarity with water well drilling process and well service. Valid commercial truck driving license with experience in commercial driving and tanker operations Knowledge of OSHA safety standards, PPE use, respiratory protection, and safe construction site practices Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions for extended periods Prior experience working on drilling rigs or in well service environments highly desirable Construction site experience including familiarity with excavation equipment such as well service rigs, fork lifts and cranes is a plus Join us if you're ready to bring your technical skills to an energetic team dedicated to safe operations and exceptional service in the oil & gas industry!
Pay:
$26.35 - $31.74 per hour
