In this vital role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of pulling units used during pipeline installation, maintenance, and repair. Your expertise will contribute to the successful execution of horizontal drilling projects and other heavy equipment operations on oil rigs and construction sites. We are seeking energetic individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are committed to safety and precision. Responsibilities Operate and assist with heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and tankers to support pulling unit activities on the rig floor. Handle rigging tasks to secure pipes, tools, and equipment during pulling operations, ensuring safety standards are met. Support the setup and teardown of plugging rigs, including connecting hoses and pipelines for fluid transfer during operations. Conduct routine inspections of mechanical components of pulling units and associated equipment to identify maintenance needs or potential hazards. Follow OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) guidelines diligently to maintain a safe working environment for all team members. Assist with pipeline installation, repair, or removal processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety protocols. Collaborate closely with drill crews, engineers, and supervisors to coordinate tasks efficiently on construction sites or oil & gas facilities. Requirements Prior experience working on oil rigs, construction sites, or in the oil & gas industry is highly preferred. Demonstrated ability to operate heavy machinery such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and tanker trucks safely and effectively. Mechanical knowledge related to pipeline systems, horizontal drilling equipment, and rigging techniques. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with experience driving tankers or similar vehicles is a plus. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and construction site safety practices. Strong physical stamina to stand, lift heavy objects, and perform manual tasks for extended periods. Ability to work in various weather conditions while maintaining focus on safety and quality.
