Job description: Job description: Local to Channelview TX!
Rotation:
Monday - Friday 7am to 7pm (Every other saturday about 8 hrs)( 12 hr days )
LOTS OF OVERTIME
Pay:
$20/hr to start Boilermaker experience or Drilling rig experience is preferred
Overview:
Assist in rig-up/rig-down: install/assemble components, paint/finish equipment. Handle multiple tasks safely and efficiently. Tear down and rebuild entire generator skids. Radiator, engine, generator, compressors, and start up motor Harmonic balancer replacement Tear down and rebuilt drilling rig Hydraulic Catwalk operation, maintenance and repair
Key Duties:
Dissasemble and Reassamle driling rig components Train new crew on processes, procedures, tools, and parts Attend pre/post-tour meetings Inspect fabricated units for accuracy Sort, stack, and inventory materials Use air/hand tools (ratchets, wrenches, sledge hammers, etc.) Follow company policies for quality and incident-free culture Keep jobsite clean, organized; maintain tools/equipment Orient jobsite visitors Track tools for
Pad Foreman Requirements:
Know rig yard operations Read/follow instructions in English Clear communication (read, write, speak English) Give/receive feedback; ask for clarification Multitask and follow through Work at heights; lift 50-100 lbs frequently Work in all weather Teamwork with crew, management, third parties Maintain forklift/man lift certifications Basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide) Complete required training Bend, stoop, kneel, crawl Good vision/hearing for safety Strong memory and spatial awareness Stay alert during long shifts Give/follow directions promptly
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED 2 years stable work (farming, construction, heavy equipment, military, etc.)
Education:
High school or equivalent (Required)
