Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pulling Unit Operator to join our dynamic team in supporting oil and gas extraction operations. In this role, you will be responsible for operating pulling units—specialized heavy equipment used to extract and transport oil and gas from underground reservoirs. Your expertise will ensure safe, efficient, and reliable pulling operations on oil rigs and construction sites, contributing directly to the success of our energy projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge equipment in a fast-paced environment where safety, precision, and teamwork are paramount. Responsibilities Operate pulling units and associated heavy machinery such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and tankers to facilitate the extraction and transportation of oil and gas. Conduct thorough inspections of equipment before, during, and after operations to ensure mechanical integrity and safety compliance. Assist with rigging, hooking up pipelines, and setting up mechanical systems necessary for horizontal drilling and other extraction processes. Follow all OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards and safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment. Coordinate with team members on construction sites to execute tasks efficiently while adhering to project timelines. Maintain detailed records of operational activities, safety checks, and equipment maintenance logs. Support the setup and operation of pipeline systems, ensuring proper connections and leak prevention during pulling operations. Requirements Proven experience operating heavy equipment on oil rigs or construction sites, including pulling units, excavators, cranes, forklifts, or tankers. Mechanical knowledge related to oil & gas extraction equipment, pipeline systems, and horizontal drilling techniques. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards applicable to oilfield operations and construction environments. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including rigging, lifting heavy loads with cranes or forklifts, and working at heights or in confined spaces. Strong understanding of construction site procedures, safety protocols, and equipment maintenance routines.
