We are accepting applications for Marine Environmental Technicians. The successful candidate must have prior construction or maritime experience. This person will report to the company s Environmental Operations Supervisor. Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Small vessel operation; Skilled equipment operations include but are not limited to forklift, pump operations, hand tools (Hydraulic, pneumatic, electric, and gas-powered), and heavy equipment (excavators, loaders, and backhoes). Welding and cutting; Oil Spill response; Deploying, retrieval, and processing of sorbent materials; Boom deployment and retrieval; Boom and fender maintenance; Driving/positioning company vehicles; Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

All employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States Must have a valid driver license, valid car insurance, and submit an acceptable driving record for the past three years Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check Must possess or be able to obtain a TWIC Card Ability to work in all weather conditions; rain, sleet, storm, snow, heat, etc. Ability to lift up to 50lbs frequently; up to 75lbs occasionally 24hour and 7 days a week availability based upon project or emergency response needs

Preferred Experience:

1-3 years experience in the maritime industry or construction industry First/Aid

CPR HAZWOPER

Current Passport Boaters Card (Washington state boater s card) USCG License

TWIC JOB LOCATION

Neah Bay, WA This is a seasonal, non-exempt, hourly position. Overtime is paid in accordance with applicable federal and state law.

Pay range:
