Yes Position Summary:
KIC Construction is looking to hire an Operator for heavy and other specialized equipment for various construction jobs and snow removal.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Fuel and upkeep during the day-day operational use of equipment used. Inspect equipment daily to assure it is in proper condition to operate. Inspections include checking fluid levels, brakes, tires pressure/track tension, leaks, and hydraulic systems. Report truck conditions to KIC shop. Complete all work orders and tasks assigned in a timely manner. Comply with all company policies and applicable federal, state and local laws and safety standards. Must have An Uncompromising Commitment to Safety! Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
An Alaskan CDL is required with a clean driving record. Unexpired DOT Physical Card preferred. Must pass a Drug Test and background checks. Prior experience with safe and efficient operation of assigned equipment and observance of traffic laws and regulations as well as OSHA Standards. Must be able to lift 50 pounds or less.
