Perform excavation, grading, trenching, backfilling, and site preparation. Load, move, and place materials safely and efficiently. Perform daily equipment inspections and report mechanical issues. Follow project plans, grades, elevations, and job-site instructions. Work safely around underground utilities, structures, vehicles, and other workers. Maintain equipment and keep the work area clean and organized. Assist with general construction duties when equipment operation is not required. Follow all company safety policies and OSHA requirements. Work effectively with foremen, laborers, and other construction personnel. Qualifications Previous experience operating heavy construction equipment. Ability to operate equipment safely and accurately. Knowledge of excavation, grading, and construction procedures. Ability to read and understand basic site plans and grade information. Valid driver's license preferred. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to work overtime and extended shifts as needed. Reliable transportation and dependable attendance. Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, climb, and lift as required.
