Job Description
Join the Tortorigi Team! Upcoming projects in Pell City & Lincoln, AL. Summary As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be essential in the efficient operation of various heavy machinery on construction sites. Reporting to the Site Supervisor, your core responsibility will be to operate equipment such as dozers, and excavators, skid steers, dirt rollers and haul trucks ensuring safety and precision. With a focus on heavy equipment operation and familiarity with GPS technology, you will contribute significantly to project success and timelines while maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Must be proficient on bulldozer and/or trackhoe operation. Must be able to perform rough and/or finish grade work. Be knowledgeable of and able to use GPS when performing finish grade work. Must be able to dig, move materials and load trucks with a trackhoe. Operate equipment in a safe manner at all times. Meet quality standards, produce quality work, and meet productivity standards.
