Job Summary We are seeking highly motivated and skilled Heavy Equipment Operators to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a wide range of construction machinery to facilitate building projects, site development, road development and material handling. Your expertise will ensure that operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently while adhering to all safety regulations and industry standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale projects and develop your skills in heavy equipment operation within a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment such as excavators, dozers, and hand tools to ensure optimal performance. Follow all safety procedures and occupational safety regulations to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and team members. Assist with site preparation activities such as grading, excavation, and site cleanup while adhering to project specifications. Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, inspections, maintenance schedules, and safety compliance documentation. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks effectively on busy construction sites. Skills Extensive experience operating heavy construction equipment including dozers, excavators. Strong knowledge of fine grading to subgrade and blue topping, also a strong knowledge of laying storm drainage, sewer lines and water lines including installation of utilities. Familiarity with construction site safety protocols, PPE use (Personal Protective Equipment), and occupational safety regulations. Ability to perform routine inspections on construction machinery and perform minor repairs or coordinate repairs as needed. Proven experience in construction site operations with a focus on safety compliance and efficient material handling. Join us in building something great!
