An Operator operates several types of power construction equipment, such as compressors, pumps, hoists, derricks, cranes, shovels, tractors, dozers, scrapers , motor graders, and off-road rock trucks, to excavate, move, and grade earth. An operator will turn valves to control the air and water output of compressors and pumps. Adjusts hand wheels and depresses pedals to drive the machine and control attachments, such as blades, buckets, scrapers, and swing booms. Repairs and maintains equipment. Ames is looking for Scraper Operators who are safe, efficient, highly skilled, and productive operators for our projects in and around Arizona
