Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and experienced CAT 395 Excavator Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will safely operate a variety of CAT (Caterpillar) heavy equipment used in construction, excavation, material handling, and site development projects. Candidates must be safety-conscious, dependable, and able to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment. Responsibilities Operate CAT heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, haul trucks, and other construction equipment. Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment. Complete routine maintenance checks and report equipment issues promptly. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Read and understand work orders, site plans, and project instructions. Assist with site preparation, grading, excavation, material movement, and cleanup. Communicate effectively with supervisors, dispatch, and crew members. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Qualifications Previous experience operating CAT 395 Excavato r required. Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred but not required. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Strong understanding of equipment safety and operating procedures. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor as needed. MSHA certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
