Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Caterpillar Heavy Equipment Operator and Haul Truck Operator, where your skills will drive impactful construction projects and ensure safety and efficiency on-site. In this role, you will operate a variety of heavy machinery and commercial trucks, perform routine maintenance, and support excavation, grading, and site development activities. Your expertise will help us meet project deadlines while adhering to strict safety standards and construction regulations. Responsibilities Safely operate heavy construction equipment including 745 articulated haul trucks and 777 rigid frame trucks. Conduct routine maintenance checks on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety; perform minor repairs as needed. Assist with construction work such as hauling material from excavation to fill. Follow all safety regulations including federal construction safety standards and equipment safety procedures to maintain a secure work environment. Support construction site activities by performing general labor tasks related to excavation, grading, backfilling under supervision. Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage, inspections, maintenance activities, for project documentation. Experience 2 years Proven experience operating heavy construction machinery such as excavators, haul trucks, and water trucks on commercial or industrial sites. Strong mechanical knowledge for routine equipment maintenance and troubleshooting machinery issues. Familiarity with construction site safety regulations including federal OSHA standards and local safety protocols. Prior experience in excavation, construction grading, or related construction activities is highly desirable. Construction site experience demonstrating the ability to work efficiently in a team environment while maintaining high safety standards.
