Initial 1-week training may be required in Sunol, CA The Job We are hiring an experienced Heavy Machinery Operator to operate and test 20-ton mining vehicles . This position is ideal for someone with experience operating rigid-frame or articulated haul trucks who is interested in advanced driver-assistance and autonomous vehicle technology. What You'll Do Safely operate and back 20-ton mining vehicles Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete DVIRs Operate vehicles for extended periods during 12-hour shifts Support hardware and software testing Report vehicle, safety, and performance issues Provide written and verbal feedback to engineering teams Operate other fleet vehicles when needed Follow all DOT and company safety procedures Requirements 5+ years of heavy machinery operating experience Experience with rigid-frame or articulated haul trucks preferred Comfortable operating and backing 20-ton+ equipment Able to work 12-hour shifts Valid driver's license; CDL Class A is a plus but not required Clean driving record Must pass background check, road test, DOT physical, MVR review, and drug screening Able to travel up to 50% Interest in autonomous and driver-assistance technology Dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable working with a team Screening Questions How many years of heavy machinery experience do you have?
