Facility Equipment Operator

Buttonwillow Pay:

$23.00

•$25.00 per hour (DOE)

•Friday Summary Clean Harbors in Buttonwillow, CA is seeking a Facility Equipment Operator to support operations within our hazardous waste landfill. This role is responsible for safely operating heavy equipment, completing daily maintenance checks, and ensuring all work is performed in compliance with safety and environmental standards. Dozer experience is highly preferred for this role. Candidates with hands-on experience operating a D6, D8, or equivalent dozer will stand out. Why work for Clean Harbors? In addition to base pay, some roles may be eligible for bonus or incentive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package. #CH #LI-TA1 Responsibilities Ensure Health and Safety is the top priority by following all policies, processes, and safe work practices Operate heavy equipment including: bulldozer, front-end loader, excavator, track hoe, compactor, haul truck (CAT/Volvo), water truck, sweepers, and yard goat Perform daily inspections and maintenance checks on assigned equipment Complete and submit required paperwork for waste tracking and operational activities Communicate any equipment issues immediately upon discovery Ensure all work is completed in compliance with applicable SOPs and regulatory requirements Perform additional duties as assigned to support facility operations
