This opportunity puts your driving skills to work transporting goods safely, efficiently, and on schedule while supporting the businesses and customers that keep the economy moving. Driving Requirements Minimum 1 year of verifiable yard hostler experience within the past 3 years Experience operating a yard goat required Ability to safely maneuver and position trailers in a busy yard environment Must be able to perform blindside backing Medical card not required CDL not required Strong commitment to workplace safety and safe driving practices Job Duties Drive and operate a yard goat to move trailers throughout the facility Switch trailers from dock to dock and position equipment as needed Complete 50+ trailer moves per shift in a fast-paced environment Perform safe backing maneuvers, including blindside backing Ensure trailers are properly staged for loading and unloading operations Conduct routine equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns Communicate with warehouse and shipping teams to support operational needs Follow all company safety procedures and yard traffic regulations Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) plan and more Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Holiday Pay is provided for eligible Drivers Weekly Pay Staffmark Perkspot - discounts on almost anything you want to buy What You Will Do As a Non CDL Yard Hostler Driver you will safely operate vehicles to transport goods, materials, or equipment while following established routes, schedules, and safety regulations. You will perform vehicle inspections, maintain required documentation, communicate with dispatch or customers as needed, and help ensure deliveries are completed safely, accurately, and on time while maintaining a professional appearance and commitment to customer service. A Non CDL Yard Hostler Driver is responsible for transporting goods safely, efficiently, and professionally while supporting the movement of products throughout the supply chain. This role requires excellent driving skills, strong situational awareness, and a commitment to safety, reliability, and customer service. Successful Non CDL Yard Hostler Driver candidates understand vehicle operation, transportation regulations, and defensive driving practices while maintaining accurate documentation and meeting delivery schedules. Strong time management and sound decision-making help drivers adapt to changing road and weather conditions.
