You'll oversee daily operations on-site, manage crews, interpret technical drawings, and coordinate project schedules—all while maintaining compliance with federal and industry safety regulations. Responsibilities Operate heavy machinery such as excavators, dozers, loaders, etc with precision and adherence to safety standards. Supervise and manage construction crews, providing clear direction, training, and support to ensure productivity and safety. Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to guide project execution. Coordinate construction schedules. Oversee quality control measures, ensuring work meets project specifications and regulatory requirements. Manage project documentation including safety reports, daily logs, and inspection records. Enforce OSHA standards and federal construction safety regulations to maintain a safe work environment for all team members. Collaborate with project managers on scheduling adjustments, and resource allocation to keep projects on track. Qualifications Proven experience operating heavy equipment in a construction setting. Demonstrated supervisory experience managing teams in a construction management role. Ability to read and interpret plans and technical drawings accurately. Knowledge of construction safety management practices, including OSHA regulations and federal safety standards. Strong communication skills for effective management of crews and coordination with project stakeholders.
