In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely operating a variety of heavy machinery and equipment to support projects from start to finish. Your expertise will help ensure that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Duties Operate heavy equipment such as backhoes, excavators, and machinery with precision and safety. Manage various trucks including front loader trucks, dump trucks, for material transport and site preparation. Conduct routine inspections of equipment before and after use to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance. Follow detailed instructions from supervisors to complete tasks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain accurate operation logs, inspection reports, and safety documentation throughout each shift. Support farm machinery operations when required, demonstrating versatility across different types of equipment. Requirements Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as loaders, backhoes, excavators, and other heavy machinery. Construction site experience is essential; familiarity with various construction processes is highly valued. Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues and perform basic maintenance on equipment. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with experience driving large vehicles like dump trucks. Knowledge of construction safety standards and procedures to promote a safe work environment. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining focus on safety and productivity. Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and supervisors.
