Job Overview Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of heavy machinery and a strong understanding of mechanical systems. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of equipment on-site, contributing to the overall productivity of our operations. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment such as cranes, backhoes, bulldozers, and loaders to perform various tasks including digging, lifting, and transporting materials. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance. Collaborate with team members to coordinate activities and ensure efficient workflow on job sites. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others. Assist in loading and unloading materials using front loader trucks or dump trucks as needed. Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance performed, and any issues encountered during operation. Requirements Proven experience in operating heavy machinery including but not limited to cranes, backhoes, bulldozers, and loaders. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues. Valid commercial driving license (CDL) is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with farm machinery is a plus. Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Commitment to following safety regulations and procedures at all times.
Pay:
$32.00 - $40.00 per hour
