Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of construction machinery to facilitate building projects, site development, and material handling. Your expertise will ensure that operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently, contributing to the successful completion of construction tasks. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment while maintaining a strong focus on safety and precision. Duties Operate heavy machinery such as bulldozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and dump trucks to move materials and prepare sites for construction activities. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of construction equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance. Follow all safety procedures and occupational safety regulations while operating machinery and handling materials. Use hand tools and hydraulics systems for minor repairs or adjustments on equipment as needed. Transport construction materials using commercial trucks such as front loader trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, or tanker trucks to various sites. Assist in material handling tasks including loading, unloading, and positioning materials with cranes or other machinery. Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage, inspections, maintenance activities, and safety checks. Experience Proven experience operating a range of construction machinery including dozers, loaders, excavators, backhoes, cranes, and dump trucks. Strong knowledge of hydraulics systems and mechanical principles related to heavy equipment maintenance. Experience working on construction sites with familiarity in site safety protocols and PPE use. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with experience in commercial truck driving preferred. Hands-on experience with concrete mixers or similar material handling equipment is a plus. Ability to perform routine equipment maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently. Knowledge of occupational safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation is essential for ensuring a safe work environment. Join us in building the future with your expertise!
