CDL Overview:

Westech Industries is looking for qualified Equipment Operators in telecommunications construction to join our team as a full-time employee based out of our Redding location. This position requires the ability to operate a variety of equipment including Backhoes, Mini excavators, Skid Steers, Vacuum Trucks, or other machinery associated with underground construction and be able to handle day-to-day standard maintenance of the equipment being used, including fueling, greasing, and pre/post inspection. The qualified Operator must have experience digging safely around live utilities and understand current USA excavation guidelines. This position requires the ability to work year-round and handle inclement weather associated with working outdoors, including heat, cold, rain, wind, and possibly snow. Must have the ability to operate small tools and hand tools as needed. This individual must possess a valid Commercial Drivers License with a satisfactory driving record. Standard pre-employment screening is a must. Work may require out of town travel throughout Northern California, after normal business hours, and on weekends, depending on customer needs and emergency response work.
