Job Description

Project Engineer - Crane, Rigging & Heavy TransportA Project Engineer will work with design professionals, customers, subcontractors, and field crews to direct complex crane, rigging, heavy lift, and heavy transport projects.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop operational solutions for heavy lift and heavy haul projects.

Create engineering plans and fabrication drawings and provide field supervision.

Perform field surveying and jobsite layout.

Serve as the primary customer interface for engineering projects.

Manage project schedules, resources, and equipment assignments.

Prepare work and cost estimates for bids and proposals.

Manage and direct field crews during installation and use of designed equipment.

Lift and carry documents and equipment weighing up to 40 pounds.

Maintain knowledge of safety and management policies.

Perform additional assignments as directed by management.

QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or related Engineering field required.

EIT or PE preferred.

Valid California Driver's License with a clean driving record.

Strong technical writing and communication skills.

Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage projects independently.

Proficiency with AutoCAD and RISA.Experience with crane, rigging, heavy lift, heavy haul, or heavy transport projects is highly preferred.

Strong ability to work in both engineering/design and field environments.
