| Overtime & Storm Premiums Available Position Overview Industrial Snow Services (ISS) is hiring Snow Equipment Operators for the upcoming winter season. Snow Equipment Operators are responsible for safely and efficiently operating loaders, skid steers, tractors, plow trucks, and other heavy equipment to clear snow and ice from commercial properties. We are looking for experienced heavy equipment operators who are confident operating machinery in winter conditions and can work safely and efficiently during demanding snow events. This is a seasonal position running approximately October through May , with the majority of work occurring during winter weather events. Storm work may include overnight, weekend, holiday, and extended shifts. Key Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment to remove, push, stack, load, and relocate snow. Operate loaders, skid steers, plow trucks, and other snow-removal equipment as assigned. Safely maneuver equipment around buildings, vehicles, pedestrians, loading docks, curbs, landscaping, and other obstacles. Perform pre-operation equipment inspections and report mechanical or safety issues to the Site Lead. Operate equipment in snow, ice, limited visibility, and other challenging winter conditions. Assist with application of salt and other de-icing materials when assigned. Maintain awareness of changing site conditions throughout snow events. Work as part of a coordinated snow-removal team under the direction of the Site Lead. Follow ISS operating procedures and all required safety protocols. Maintain equipment cleanliness and assist with fueling, staging, and post-storm equipment cleanup. Assist with final site cleanup and snow relocation following major snow events. Report hazards, property damage, equipment issues, or other concerns immediately. Qualifications & Requirements Previous heavy equipment operating experience strongly preferred. Experience operating loaders, skid steers, tractors, wheel loaders, or similar equipment. Snow removal experience is preferred but not required for experienced equipment operators . Ability to safely operate equipment for extended periods. Strong understanding of equipment safety and proper operating procedures. Ability to work independently while following direction from the Site Lead. Valid driver's license. Reliable transportation to and from assigned job sites. Ability to work overnight, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts during snow events. Ability to work outdoors in freezing temperatures and adverse weather conditions. Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail. Must be able to successfully complete ISS's hiring and screening requirements.
